How to join
Pistol shooting in NSW is regulated and requires both a Category H firearms licence and active club membership. The pathway typically looks like this:
-
Step 1
Get in touch
Email info@citypistolclub.org with a brief intro and your shooting background. We'll respond with a visiting-shooter invite to one of our match days.
-
Step 2
Visit a match
Come along on a third Sunday, observe a match, meet members and ask questions. No commitment.
-
Step 3
Apply for membership
Submit a membership application form (provided by the committee) plus supporting documentation: TODO: list documents required, e.g. photo ID, club references, licence copy if applicable.
-
Step 4
Probation & safety induction
New members complete a safety induction and a probationary period of attended matches before progressing to full membership.
