City Pistol Club brings together Sydney pistol shooters for monthly competition, structured training and the camaraderie of a tight-knit club. We meet the third Sunday of every month at the Auburn SSAA Indoor Shooting Range.

From new licence holders to seasoned competitors, members get a structured home for monthly competition, coaching and range time at one of Sydney's premier indoor facilities.

Monthly Competition

Friendly but earnest matches every third Sunday. ISSF-style courses of fire, scored and ranked. Suitable for all skill levels.

Every shooter follows the four firearm safety rules and our range standing orders. New members receive a safety briefing before their first match.

When we shoot

Third Sunday, every month

Doors open at 9:30 a.m. for sign-in and equipment check. Briefing at 9:50, first relay starts at 10:00 sharp. Plan to wrap by mid-afternoon depending on entries.

We operate from the SSAA NSW Auburn Pistol & Rifle Range — a fully enclosed indoor facility in Sydney's inner-west, with covered bays, electronic target retrieval and onsite armoury services.
